Effective 8 September 2026.

Robot Paper LLC runs robotpaper.com and Dungeon Camp, our player area — if Discord asked whether to let "Dungeon Camp" see your account, this is the policy that covers it. This explains what we collect and why. The short version: we collect what we need to run game nights and tell you about them, and we don't sell it or hand it to advertisers.

What we collect

When you register for a game night — your first and last name, email address, and optionally a mobile number, along with which event you signed up for and when.

When you join the mailing list — your email address, and your first name if you give it.

When you connect Discord to Dungeon Camp — your Discord account ID, username, avatar, and the email address on your Discord account. We ask Discord for two permissions only: identify and email. We cannot read your messages, see your servers, or post anything, and we never receive your Discord password.

When you use the site — standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) and Google Analytics, which we use to see roughly how many people visit and which pages they read.

We do not collect payment card details. Purchases go through a separate store with its own payment processing.

Why we use it

  • To run our game nights and know who is coming to which table
  • To contact you about an event you signed up for — a change of venue, a cancellation, a reminder
  • To send occasional announcements about upcoming games, if you have joined the mailing list. Every such message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate
  • To let you sign in and see the games you're part of
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your information, and we never have
  • We don't share it with advertisers or data brokers
  • We don't use it for targeted advertising
  • We don't send marketing to people who only registered for an event — that requires joining the mailing list separately

Your personal link

If you have a personal sign-in link, that link identifies you. Anyone holding it can see your games, so treat it like a password. We keep these pages out of search engines and out of browser caches, and we don't pass the link to other sites when you click away. Ask us and we'll issue you a new one.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies, and none of them are for advertising:

  • A sign-in cookie, if you sign in, so the site remembers it's you
  • Google Analytics cookies, which measure site traffic

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block the sign-in cookie, signing in won't work.

Who else touches your data

  • Supabase — hosts the database where this information is stored
  • Vercel — hosts the website
  • Google Analytics — website traffic measurement
  • Discord — only if you choose to connect your Discord account

Each of these is a service provider acting on our behalf, or, in Discord's case, a service you have chosen to connect. We don't give your information to anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep registration records so we have a history of who has played with us, which is what makes your account useful to you. Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe. Ask us to delete your information and we will, other than anything we're required to keep.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time using the link in any email
  • Disconnect Discord by asking us
  • Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it

For any of these, email hello@robotpaper.com and we'll sort it out.

Children

Our site and events are not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. Some events are all ages — where a child attends, we expect a parent or guardian to handle the registration. If you believe we hold a child's information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do.
